Prince Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Sudairy Library

The Prince Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Sudairy Library is designated for men and covers an area of six hundred and fifty square meters (650 m²). It was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz—may Allah have mercy on him—on 17/11/1425 AH, corresponding to 29/12/2004 AD. The library consists of the following sections:

Private Reading Hall
In addition to the general reading hall, the Prince Abdulrahman Al-Sudairy Library provides private reading units that allow researchers to read and work in a quiet, comfortable, and independent environment.

Internet Browsing Corner
This area enables library visitors to browse the internet, explore its resources, and benefit from available information.

Meeting and Training Hall
The Prince Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Sudairy Library includes a multipurpose hall that can be used for meetings and various training courses. The hall is equipped with all necessary audio-visual facilities to fulfill its objectives. It is also available to the local community for hosting cultural activities and official and community events.

Books and Periodicals Section
The library houses a collection of books and periodicals in line with its role as a public library serving the community of Al-Ghat and its surrounding areas. It has also worked on developing a specialized collection of books and scientific materials.

Abdulrahman Al-Sudairy Cultural Center Publications Corner
The library includes a dedicated corner for publications issued by the Center.

Special Collection Corner
The library has begun building a special collection that includes all publications and valuable materials related to Al-Ghat and Sudair, in addition to establishing a specialized collection focused on palm tree studies.
