Dar Al Uloom is the main headquarters of the Abdulrahman Al Sudairi Cultural Center in Al Jouf, and includes the General Administration, the Dar Al Uloom library, the library of the women's section, and Al Jouf Hall. The library is one of the first public libraries in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the library of the women's Section at Dar Al Uloom in Al Jawf is the first public library for women inside the kingdom. The history of the establishment of the Dar Al Uloom library dates back to the year 1383 Ah/1963 ad when the founder established the public culture library by his own effort in the city of Sakaka, and he remained keen on developing it until it became a bright beacon in the region known to everyone as Dar Al Uloom.
The library contains a stock of more than 160,000 books, in addition to more than 250 newspapers and magazines, as well as a special collection of valuable information vessels related to the Antiquities of the region, photographs of manuscripts, documents, money, stamps and valuable books. The House also includes a range of Audiovisual Media, including motion pictures, tapes and film thumbnails, as well as many modern electronic means.
